In my last post, where I had reviewed the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation, I had mentioned the only drawback for the product being that it offers only medium coverage and suggested picking up MAC Studio Fix Fluid if you are looking for full coverage and that certainly is it’s highlight.
MAC describes the product as “A modern foundation that combines a natural matte finish and medium to full buildable coverage with SPF 15 protection. Applies, builds and blends easily and evenly. Comfortable and long-wearing, it helps minimize the appearance of pores and imperfections, giving skin a smoother, more flawless look and finish.”
The foundation comes in a sturdy heavy glass jar with a screw on black matte cap. In case you were wondering, no, there is no pump for dispensing the product, so you can purchase a pump separately if you need it. However the glass jar being quite compact is travel friendly. For best application results, more than using brush, I would recommend using a beauty blender.
The foundation has a creamy texture which has quite consistent and blends in really well. As I mentioned, it offers full coverage that gets you a beautiful matte finish look. The foundation covers all your pigmentation and spots resulting in a bright look which does not look cakey at all. This foundation stays on easily for longer hours and comes with SPF 15 as well. This foundation is suitable for all skin types though I would suggest people with dry skin to dab on some extra moisturizer than usual when using this product. To get the best results, it is quite important that you pick the right and the most suited shade for your skin tone.
